welcome to Philadelphia Dragon Boat Association!
PDBA is the oldest and most decorated dragon boat team in the United States. Our focus is training members to compete for positions on the National Team. Countless members have won medals at the World Championships. Paddler Kevin McFadden is in the IDBF Hall of Fame inaugural class. He was followed by Coach Bob McNamara in 2023. Starting primarily as a Open team in 1983, our program is now made up of men and women ranging from 13-70 years of age.
